  • Company Attracted $27 Million Equity and Credit Investment and Unveiled Several New Voice of the Customer Products and Services

Salt Lake City, UT (January 11th, 2012) – Mindshare Technologies sustained its upward trajectory in 2011 with numerous company accomplishments, including capping off the year with a 39 percent overall revenue growth, as well as recording its 105th consecutive month of recurring revenue growth. The company, which is a leader in Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) and Voice of the Customer solutions (VoC), also opened offices in London, Kansas City, Houston and San Diego.

"We've had another great year, and we couldn't have done it without the hard work of our employees"
– Richard Hanks

Mindshare's success attracted interest from Sorenson Capital and The PrivateBank and Trust Company, prompting $27 million in equity and credit investment in the company. These investments are key to helping the company accelerate its strategy of rapid growth through innovation and new-product development.

The company unveiled several new technologies for the VoC industry in 2011, including:

Mindshare Speech-to-Text: This first-of-its-kind tool transcribes customers' audio survey responses and feeds them as text comments into Mindshare's existing Text Analytics Suite, extracting and delivering immediate actionable information for location managers.

Quick Response (QR) Codes: Mindshare's QR-code feature allows customers to conveniently access surveys on a mobile device -- the new tool of choice for customers giving feedback. This powerful tool provides location managers with instantaneous access to customer feedback, enabling managers to make operations adjustments in real time.

Mindshare Mobile App: This mobile application allows ground-level managers at retail stores, call centers, and other locations to immediately access, view, track and take action on customer survey information as it is submitted from their smartphones.

"In a time when many companies are struggling to just stay afloat, Mindshare has thrived year in and year out, and 2011 certainly was another banner year for us," said John Sperry, CEO of Mindshare Technologies. "The kind of unparalleled growth we have had is a testament to the strength of our products and services. In order for our clients to stay competitive in these uncertain economic times, it is vital that they emphasize customer satisfaction, and we are thrilled to be able to offer them the solutions they need to do so."

"We've had another great year, and we couldn't have done it without the hard work of our employees," said Richard Hanks, chairman and president of Mindshare. "We are unbelievably proud of the stalwart dedication that employees at all levels of the company have shown, and the value each and every one has placed on providing the upmost service to our clients."

Throughout the year, both the company and its leadership were recognized for numerous achievements, receiving multiple awards from prestigious and respected institutions. Kurt Williams was named CTO of the Year by the Utah Technology Council, and Mindshare president Richard Hanks and COO Brad Clark were both named to the vSpring Capital Top 100 Venture Entrepreneurs list. Inc. recognized Mindshare on its annual list of the 5000 Fastest Growing Companies, Utah Business placed Mindshare on its annual Best Companies to Work For list, and the company was also honored as one of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces(TM) in the United States.

"This type of recognition of our efforts and achievements serves as great motivation, and we look forward to capitalizing on this fantastic momentum to make 2012 an even better year for Mindshare," added Sperry.
