Utah Business Names Mindshare One of 2011's Best Companies to Work For

  • Mindshare Is One of Only 25 Utah Companies on the Annual List
  • Company Has Grown 38 Percent Over the Past Year and Boasts More Than 100 Consecutive Months of Increasing Recurring Revenue Growth

SALT LAKE CITY (December 19, 2011) — Mindshare Technologies announced today the company was named to Utah Business magazine's annual 2011 Best Companies to Work For. The award honors the 25 Utah companies most committed to improving their employees' job satisfaction by providing them opportunities for success. Mindshare improves operations for its retail, restaurant, call center, and other clients through the strategic and efficient use of customer surveys, using proprietary Voice of the Customer technologies such as its Enterprise Feedback Management offering.

"Those of us who work at Mindshare already knew it was a great company to work for, and now the rest of the state knows it too," said Summer Wilson, director of human resources at Mindshare. "The single biggest contributing factor to what makes Mindshare such a great place to work is our employees. During the hiring process, we screen for individuals who can fit into the company culture, and we actively seek out those who feel comfortable in a dynamic, creative and collaborative environment."

The Utah Business list of Best Companies to Work For is compiled using a two-part survey process in which a company's HR director or executive department first completes a survey that asks about the company's benefits, culture and management structure. Then, the employees are asked to complete a survey that asks questions relating to benefits, opportunities and company culture. In order for a company to be eligible, it must have at least 25 employees working in Utah.

Utah Business pointed to Mindshare's job-specific training, no-cost seminars, wellness programs, corporate games, stocked break room and recognition programs as some of the offerings that helped the company land on the list this year.

Additionally, Mindshare strives to keep company morale high by hosting regular events centered on employee's families. Mindshare also focuses on offering highly competitive benefit plans, and has paid more into the company's insurance plan to ensure their employees wouldn't have to pay higher rates in 2012.

"It is a simple concept, but happy employees equal happy clients," said Lonnie Mayne, executive vice president of Mindshare. "We are growing as a company, but we strive to keep the small business mentality where all the executives know each employee by name, and everyone stays invested in the company's success. We want to give everyone the chance to succeed and do what they do best, and that is the philosophy that helps us be one of the best companies to work for in Utah."

Beginning in 2002, as a two-person operation, Mindshare has since grown to more than 80 employees with service throughout North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe. The company also boasts more than 100 months of consecutive recurring revenue growth. Recently, Mindshare was also recognized as one of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in the United States.
