For Mindshare Technologies, there is no escaping the top.
On Wednesday, Mindshare President Richard Hanks and Chief Operations Officer Brad Clark were both named to the 2011 vSpring Capital Top 100 Venture Entrepreneurs list, also known as the v100. This is Hanks’ third year as a member of the v100, which has only existed since 2004.
The v100 is an annual list of Utah’s top entrepreneurs as voted on by fellow successful Utah businesspeople. Prospective members are nominated by their peers. Those who are nominated vote among each other to determine the next v100 community. The v100 was created by vSpring Capital as a method to identify and recognize entrepreneurs with Utah ties that are most likely to experience successful venture returns. Members of the v100 become part of an ongoing community of entrepreneurs that fosters collaboration and provides advantages in building and growing companies.
“I am truly honored that so many colleagues and equals consider me a leading entrepreneur,” said Clark, one of Mindshare’s longest-tenured executives, joining the company in late 2002 just after its inception. “The business climate in Utah is one of the best in the world and to be considered among the brightest up-and-comers is truly wonderful.”
Alongside Hanks and Clark are some of the world’s leading business minds, including executives and directors at Adobe Systems, Disney, FamilySearch, and BYU. Mindshare’s CEO John Sperry was named to the v100 in 2010.
