Lonnie earned his reputation as a leading executive, with over 21 years of executive leadership in sales, customer service, marketing and operations. He is specifically known for his relentless focus on the customer and their needs. As Lonnie would say “If you focus on the customers (internal and external) the results will follow!” He has been recruited by leading companies to implement his approach in making “good” sales teams “great” and is also known for his expertise and thought leadership in teaching world class customer service concepts. Lonnie’s expertise in all of these areas has turned him into one of the leading speakers in the customer service field. Lonnie frequently speaks to some of the largest and most respected corporations in the world. His experience has made him an expert in world class customer service, team building, creating customer value, sales development and individual development. Lonnie joined Mindshare Technologies from the Affinia Group in Michigan, where he served as VP, Special and Emerging Markets. He was responsible for creating high performance sales teams and setting the strategic direction for three operating divisions, including Heavy Duty, Retail and Affinia’s Motorsports / NASCAR program. Prior to Affinia, he was VP, Sales for No.1 International and later became President of No.1 International’s factory engineering group, and a member of the Board of Directors. While at No.1 International, Lonnie and his teams were successful in partnering with the most respected customers in the industry, helping customers to increase their sales and profitability. Previously, Lonnie was National Sales Manager for Timken Bearing Co. in Ohio. Lonnie attended the University of Utah and later completed Ohio State University’s Executive Education Leadership program. He also received the distinguished automotive AAP degree from Northwood University in Michigan.
